Trail Raceway has hosted an NHRA national event since the second
week of June 1972,

when the
Springnationals moved here from Dallas Motor Speedway.
Our track has produced some big numbers as well as noted
upsets. Ours is one of the fastest tracks in the
Midwest, and our multiyear expansion and renovation is
evidence of NHRA's commitment to make National Trail
Raceway one of the top motorsports venues in the
